The Ascended Court - A Monster of the Week Campaign
A downloadable game
The year is 1875. The Spiritualist movement has swept through England and even the Queen is taking part. Séances are all the rage. Everyone who’s anyone has attended or hosted one. As this is a Monster of the Week campaign, those séances could be benign, or, if attended by those with ulterior motives, could end in disaster.
In The Ascended Court, hunters get the chance to stake out the British Museum’s warehouse, make deals with demons, attend a Spiritualist ball, collect fun treasure, and uncover a conspiracy that goes all the way to top levels of the British government. This campaign is compatible with the Gothic Century setting in Monster of the Week’s Tome of Worlds but also works with just the corebook rules.

What Playtesters Had to Say:
"This campaign is an unhinged supernatural romp and it's full of sexy, sexy demons. Player agency is at the forefront of The Ascended Court and shenanigans are guaranteed." - Sebastian Yūe
“The mysteries were always engaging and offered us many avenues to solve the problem week after week. The setting was super fun and the historical element really sealed the deal for me.” - Drew Bowers
“Involve yourself with many strange happenings in London, get into steep trouble with your friends and find where you stand on royalty. I had such a great time with this campaign.” - Victor Villavicencio
“What to expect when exploring Victorian London: dangerous spirits, demons, and all manner of beasties!” - Jacky Leung
“Morgan's zeal for Victorian themes, dark drama, and supernatural intrigue make every mystery immersive and compelling. The backdrop of Victorian London lends such a dreary and shadowy environment for players to interact with, and the variety of monsters they encounter keeps the hunters from relying too heavily on any one strategy for investigating and fighting. The players in my game had a lot of fun, and I'd happily run it again.” - Ian B.
